**Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Weekend Shift)**
**Shift:** Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon (4x10s) 6a-4:30p; OT as required
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to focus on preventative maintenance and line coverage in designated areas by utilizing production and maintenance processes and tools. The role requires safely operating assigned equipment and maintaining all line equipment to enhance equipment reliability. The technician will prioritize tasks in collaboration with the maintenance supervisor to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, the role involves assisting operations in attaining departmental KPIs by reducing downtime through preventative, corrective, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies and continuous improvements. This position reports directly to our Maintenance Supervisor.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical concerns of the equipment.
+ Maintain and improve the integrity and performance of line equipment, and complete scheduled work orders.
+ Utilize maintenance windows to perform preventive maintenance inspections and corrective work orders on line equipment as assigned.
+ Participate in the development and improvement of documented maintenance procedures in the MaintainX CMMS.
+ Develop and implement improvements using learnings from emergent equipment work to prevent recurring equipment failures.
+ Utilize the MaintainX CMMS to create notifications, perform and confirm completed work orders while ensuring crew accountability for system usage.
+ Operate and maintain all equipment in assigned areas, which includes setup, startup, adjustments, shutdown, and changeover as per company standards.
+ Read blueprints and schematics.
+ Preferred knowledge in fabrication of small machine parts and guards.
+ Knowledgeable on the operation, service, and repair of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including cylinders, valves, accumulators, and compressor and pipefitting.
+ Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam processes for failure points and repair issues in those systems.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics knowledge
+ Preventive maintenance expertise
+ CMMS experience
+ Understanding of food safety practices in a manufacturing environment
+ 3+ years in a leadership role

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
