About Studio A100:

At VIATechnik, Studio A100 is redefining how reality capture and BIM transform the built environment. We digitize spaces at scale, capturing 3D scans and delivering data-rich, BIM-ready models that help retailers and facility owners make smarter, faster decisions. From surveys to digital twins, we turn buildings into high-performing business assets. If you're passionate about technology, architecture, and making an impact, A100 is where you can innovate, grow, and lead alongside a team that's shaping the future of the industry.

The role:

As a BIM Manager with a reality capture focus, you will lead some of our most technically demanding and high-impact projects. From large-scale scans to intelligent BIM model production and client-facing coordination. You'll manage complex scan-to-BIM programs for major clients across sectors like retail, commercial, and multi-site portfolios.

This role demands deep technical expertise in Revit, scan-to-BIM workflows, and reality capture tools such as Matterport and LiDAR. Just as importantly, you'll bring the ability to see both the big picture and the path to get there while leading teams, managing stakeholders, and constantly improving our workflows and outcomes.

If you're an experienced project leader who thrives at the intersection of architecture, BIM, and cutting-edge field capture, we'd love to meet you.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and manage large-scale scan-to-BIM programs using Matterport, LiDAR, and other capture technologies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients; managing conversations, aligning expectations, presenting work, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Develop structured work plans and protocols for scanning, modeling, and QA/QC processes.
  • Supervise and coach internal teams across geographies to ensure quality and consistency in scanning and Revit output.
  • Translate raw site data into well-structured, intelligent Revit models for architectural, retail, and commercial use cases.
  • Lead scanning and scan-to-BIM training sessions, both internally and externally.
  • Establish and maintain standardized scanning processed, BIM workflows, templates, and Revit families to support repeatable, scalable delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting, decision-making, and process optimization throughout the lifecycle of the project from scheduling to delivery.
  • Identify gaps in workflows and propose improvements across the scanning and scan-to-BIM pipeline.
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones to internal and client teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Apply if you have:

  • A bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture, architectural engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale reality capture programs, including Matterport and LiDAR scanning.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships from beginning to end in in scan and scan-to-BIM projects.
  • Deep expertise in Revit and modeling from point clouds.
  • Strong project and team leadership skills with experience coordinating across global teams.
  • A proactive and structured working style. You can lead with clarity, manage ambiguity, and drive decisions forward.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to moderate complex discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for continuous improvement in process, quality, and client experience.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience supporting retail, commercial, or multi-site owner clients.
  • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIM360, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with data quality control from site to model (QA/QC across scan-to-BIM).
  • Built or led formal Revit or BIM training programs.
  • Contributed to workflow automation or custom tooling for BIM and scan-to-BIM pipelines.
  • Experience working on enterprise-level architectural or engineering programs.

Compensation and featured benefits:

  • The pay for this position is $95,000 – $105,000, and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience
  • Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 65% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plan chosen)
  • Dental and vision insurance. We cover up to 75% of the monthly insurance premiums for VIATechies and up to 50% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plans chosen)
  • Open and flexible time off
  • A 401(k) plan that is fully vested immediately
  • Home office setup costs
  • Paid holidays
