**Job Title: General Laborer** **Job Description** The General Laborer supports construction activities on commercial job sites by assisting equipment operators, performing manual earthwork with shovels, maintaining site cleanliness, and helping with grading and signaling tasks to keep projects running safely and efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Assist equipment operators with daily construction activities on commercial job sites. + Use shovels and other hand tools to move dirt and materials as directed. + Perform site cleanup, including removing debris and maintaining a safe and organized work area. + Support grading activities to help achieve proper site levels and slopes. + Provide clear and accurate signaling to equipment operators to support safe operations. + Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks on schedule. + Work cooperatively as part of a crew of 5 or more team members on active construction sites. + Adhere to all site safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in a general labor position, preferably in construction. + Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding work, including shoveling and moving materials. + Experience assisting operators with tasks such as moving dirt, signaling, and grading. + Ability to work effectively as part of a team on active construction sites. + Reliability and willingness to follow directions and complete tasks safely and efficiently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience on commercial construction sites is preferred. + Interest in developing skills for potential advancement into leadership roles. + Willingness to participate in continued training for professional and personal development. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Post Falls, ID. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
