Job Title: Army G-3/5/7 Support Specialist

Overview: Heartland Consulting is actively seeking a highly qualified individual to support our Army G-3/5/7 client and their mission. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment with over 20 stakeholders and 15 projects. The position supports the Mission Command Support Element's (MSCE) four primary sub-branches: Synchronization and Integration Branch, Current Operations Branch, Futures Branch, and Data Operations Branch.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of progressive experience in Army operations
• Knowledge of operational and generating force activities at Army staff, Major Army Command (MACOM), and tactical levels
• Experience in Army Force Management
• Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
• Experience with resource analysis, systems engineering, acquisition management, test and evaluation, and program management support
• Knowledge of Army and Joint Capabilities Integrated Development Systems (JCIDS)
• Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and Department/Army acquisition processes
• Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues

Duties:

• Strategic planning, program management, requirements/capabilities development, integration, and acquisition management of Mission Command and Network enabling systems
• Review and analyze operational impacts of requirements/capabilities development, resourcing, testing, and acquisition
• Provide written summaries and reports
• Gather information and prepare briefings (including financial briefings)
• Assist the client with document reviews
• Attend meetings and workgroups, develop and present briefings

Education/Clearance Requirements:

• Master's Degree or equivalent (or a bachelor's degree with an additional 3 years of functional experience)
• Graduates of Command and General Staff College, War College, or School of Advanced Military Studies preferred
• How The Army Runs Course graduate preferred
• Active Security Clearance (TS preferred)
