TSEC is seeking a highly skilled Structural Steel Fitter with strong layout and fit-up experience for commercial, multifamily, industrial, retail and hospitality. This is a field-based role working with welders, foremen, and ironworkers to ensure structural components are installed accurately and to spec.

🔍 Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret structural blueprints, connection details, and welding symbols

• Perform precise layout and marking on beams, plates, columns, and embeds

• Fit structural steel components using clamps, come-alongs, and spud wrenches

• Ensure tight tolerances and proper alignment for welders and bolters

• Collaborate with welders and foremen to sequence installation safely and efficiently

• Make field modifications as needed using grinders or torches

• Maintain a clean and organized work area with all tools accounted for

✅ Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of field structural steel fitting experience

• Able to lay out structural components from drawings

• Proficient with tape measure, level, squares, grinder, and layout tools

• Comfortable working at heights and in all-weather field conditions

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• OSHA 10 or 30 (preferred)
