Our Banquet Cooks are an essential part of ensuring that our guest experience is a memorable one by providing quality food production. The Banquet Cook will maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment and is a part of kitchen production for all banquets and events.
For this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, and setting up food production and controlling the quality of all all foods for banquets and events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Set up and stocking all stations for service
- Prepare and prepping all food for event
- Follow and report to executive chef’s instructions
- Clean Station and follow proper closing procedures for kitchen
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out on time, is attractive and of great quality
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers- team player!
- Previous experience prepping for banquets and events preferred
- Attention to detail required
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Outgoing and friendly attitude
- Ability to work under pressure
- Drivers license preferred
- Skills
- Proven cooking experience for prep cook preferred buy will to teach the right candidate
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practice
