General Summary:
Assist in building valued financial relationships with our members by assisting them with their accounts while providing outstanding professional service. Perform limited transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with a high degree of accuracy. Maintain accurate transactional records, providing basic cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Provide excellent member service by greeting visitors, handling inquiries, and processing transactions quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash and checks including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the day.
- Promote credit union services such as online banking, loans, cards, and other financial products.
- Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and security measures, including fraud prevention.
- Support daily operations by keeping the workspace organized, reporting equipment issues, and assisting team members as needed.
Job Specifications
- High school diploma required with prior experience in cash handling or customer service.
- Proficient with computers including calculators, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing excellent member service.
- Solid Understanding of credit union products, services, and confidentiality practices.
- Good math and data entry skills with attention to accuracy and professionalism.
