**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Saw Helper to support the Saw Operator during shifts. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the company. The role involves retrieving products, setting them up for cutting, and assisting with various tasks as needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Support the Saw Operator during shifts.
+ Retrieve and set up products for cutting.
+ Assist with various tasks as needed.
+ Maintain good attendance and be able to work 12-hour shifts.
**Essential Skills**
+ Basic understanding of saw operation and machine operation.
+ Ability to stand on feet for 12-hour shifts.
+ Read and interpret work orders, safety instructions, and manuals.
+ Basic math skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 0-1 years of work experience.
+ Experience with general labor, forklift operation, hand tools, and bandsaw use.
+ Familiarity with tape measure, packaging, and banding.

**Work Environment**
The operation runs 24/7 with 12-hour shifts, offering both day (7 AM - 7 PM) and night (7 PM - 7 AM) schedules. The environment is dirty and dusty, with high temperatures in summer and no temperature control. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, a plain shirt, and steel-toed shoes with metatarsals. All piercings must be studs, and gauged ears must have solid plugs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellsville, PA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.85 - $18.25/hr.
