Job Title: Floor PhlebotomistJob Description Join our team as a Floor Phlebotomist, where you will play a critical role in patient care by collecting samples across three floors for laboratory testing. This position requires a dedicated professional to work Thursday to Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM. Responsibilities + Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed on assigned floors. + Collect patient samples and ensure proper labeling and documentation. + Navigate between three floors efficiently to meet patient needs. + Maintain accurate electronic medical records. + Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare staff. + Assist in taking blood pressure when necessary. Essential Skills + Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques. + Experience with electronic medical records. + Strong customer service skills. + Ability to take blood pressure accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Certified or non-certified Medical Assistant (MA) accepted. Work Environment This position is based in a hospital setting with a 250-bed capacity, expandable to 541 beds, including 27 ICUs. You will work in a lab/hospital environment.
