**Job Description**
The Assembly Technician performs hands-on assembly and packaging of auto-injector medical devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This role follows detailed Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, complete visual inspections, and maintain accurate documentation for clinical and commercial pharmaceutical products.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble auto-injector devices by following all current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
+ Feed parts into automated or semi-automated machinery that completes the assembly process.
+ Perform final packaging of finished products according to defined procedures and quality standards.
+ Visually inspect assembled devices to verify they are properly armed and meet all quality requirements.
+ Document inspection results and any findings accurately and legibly as required by procedures.
+ Receive, stage, and distribute supplies and components within the manufacturing area.
+ Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce clinical and commercial pharmaceutical products.
+ Follow cleanroom protocols and gowning procedures to maintain a controlled and compliant manufacturing environment.
+ Use basic hand tools and follow production documentation to complete assembly tasks.
+ Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in a medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of experience in medical assembly or working in an FDA-regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals or medical device manufacturing.
+ Experience working from Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures and completing required documentation.
+ Ability to perform detailed visual inspections of medical devices and packaging.
+ Familiarity with cleanroom practices and working in a controlled manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to operate and monitor basic manufacturing equipment.
+ Comfort using hand tools for small-part assembly.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards in an inspection and assembly setting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in medical device assembly or pharmaceutical production.
+ Ability to read and follow Work Instructions, SOPs, and basic production or assembly drawings and blueprints.
+ Previous experience in packaging of medical or pharmaceutical products.
+ Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

**Work Environment**
This role is based in a clean manufacturing environment, including work inside a cleanroom. Team members wear a lab coat, hairnet, beard net when applicable, shoe covers, safety glasses, and a mask in accordance with cleanroom and safety requirements. Pants or fully covered legs are required; shorts, skirts, or dresses must ensure legs are covered. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Work involves operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, handling medical device components, and performing visual inspections and packaging in a controlled, quality-focused production setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
