**Test the Limits of Innovation: Software Engineer - Test & Verification (Aerospace Defense)** **Full-Time | Consultant (12 Months) | Onsite | Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL** **Pay Rate:** + CO: $60.96-$76.31/hr + AL: $61.92-$77.52/hr **Schedule:** Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM **This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.** **Your Code Could Defend a Nation** PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly motivated **Software Engineer - Test & Verification** to support one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world. Join a team that's building the digital shield for the United States and its allies-where your work directly contributes to national security. **What You'll Do** As a Test & Verification Engineer, you'll play a critical role in validating the performance and reliability of complex aerospace systems. You will: + Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test procedures + Analyze and verify software functionality in integrated environments + Collaborate with developers and engineers in Agile teams + Participate in peer reviews and contribute to test infrastructure design + Support DevSecOps practices and continuous integration pipelines + Document test results and support issue resolution + Work 100% onsite in a secure, collaborative environment + Travel domestically up to 10% as needed **What You Bring** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field + 7+ years of engineering experience (or 5+ with a Master's, 3+ with a PhD) + Experience with automated testing of software-intensive systems + Familiarity with Agile development processes + Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills + Security+ certification (or similar) required within 60 days of start **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience in a DevSecOps environment + Background in aerospace or defense systems testing + Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect top-tier talent with mission-critical opportunities.
