Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Plano, Texas. In this role, you will focus on enhancing accounting processes, managing general ledger activities, and overseeing month-end close procedures. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the streamlining of operations and ensure financial accuracy in a dynamic environment. This is a 2-month contract role. 100% ONSITE in Plano, Texas. Interim Accounting Manager (contract position): Responsibilities: Must have BANKING industry experience Banking Client is looking for a temporary Accounting Manager to help with setting up processes, streamlining accounting and assisting with GL and month-end close. Detail-oriented and engaged individual that wants to be part of fast paced environment. Process improvement and cleaning up processes Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with a strong focus on detail. - Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains Accounting software. - Strong understanding of month-end close procedures and general ledger management. - Experience with process documentation and improvement. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
