We maintain four showrooms conveniently located in Norwood, Watertown, Natick, and Wakefield. Specialties: Kitchen Cabinetry, Stone Countertops, and Decor, Interior Design, Cabinet Manufacturing Be a part of this proven fast-growing company in the Greater Boston area We are currently looking for Lead Receiver to work within our fast-paced Cabinet office located in Norwood, MA We offer a competitive wage and benefits such as paid vacation/holiday time. Work hours are Monday -- Friday 8:00 am -4:30 pm. The Lead Receiver is a driven individual who shares in the responsibility of directing the Receivers on the production floor. The functions for success in this role are outlined as follows. Directing activity of Receivers, as to effectively/efficiently support production Complete any paperwork related to receiving in the facility Process requisitions Prepare various merchandise to be distributed to designated locations Maintain organization of materials in warehouse and production floor Maintain communication with/between Receivers and production Receive shipments Unload items Check goods for damager/identify mistakes Return unsatisfactory items Break down palletized material, sort, distribute to correct location Keep Materials Manager abreast of any concerns with processes or Team Members Job Requirements Humbleness, can effectively give and receive feedback in a constructive way respecting the values of others Must be hungry and driven to work as a team to achieve success, possessing a desire for excellence Possesses the ability to be people smart, listening and understanding why individuals function in the way they do and what drives them to be happy and successful in their work Ability to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively, and in a professional manner High level of organization, as this role has many moving parts Ability to stay informed and on time, setting the example of excellence Thrives in a fast-paced environment Ability to operate equipment and tools, as they relate to the job Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis throughout the day Flexible and adaptable, as needs may change on a moment’s notice Willingness to work inside and outside (regardless of the weather) Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour
