SUMMARY:
The Plant/Human Resources Administrator will provide office support to either an individual or team and is vital for the smooth-running of a business. The duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, and filing.
The Plant/Human Resources Administrator will also support numerous business projects from an Administrative/Human Resources/Accounting prospective for the Union Bridge Plant. The hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch.
Responsibilities:
Support the management of plant vehicle registrations.
Review and update supervisors and managers on call outs, late arrivals, etc. using the automated system.
Manage details of VIP visits, ie:, Vorstand
Support on scheduling/organizing events with Plant Manager and HR Manager – retirement parties, retirement holiday party, community council meetings, salaried holiday party, etc. Other items could include a Wellness Day (on-site flu shots, safety day – where vendors are invited into the plant and show/giveaway products.
Support all Plant Management and local HR Management
Meet and Greet visitors/candidates
Scheduling conference rooms
Update phone list
Back-up for Kronos Time System
Coordinate/Setup/Take down lunches for business meetings held in the plant
Coordinate with HR Manager plant wide communications to employees/retirees
Order and track office supplies
Distribute publications to managers/supervisors
Backup for payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees.
HR filing
Other duties and projects assigned by management.
Skills and Qualifications:
2 to 3 years office administration, human resources clerical, or payroll experience is required
