Direct Support Professional (Adult Program Assistant) MD
St. Coletta of Greater Washington is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and secondary disabilities. We are currently seeking an Adult Program Assistant who will be responsible for the safety and well being of adult program participants. Work requires patience, compassion, understanding and the desire to help individuals with disabilities become as self-sufficient as possible.
Examples of Essential Functions
Provide daily assistance to adult participants in areas such as physical care, toileting, feeding, medication administration, mobility and other daily activities. Such assistance may require the ability to keep up with running program participants and or to lift or to assist with lifting adult program participants is essential to perform this task.
Plan and provide age appropriate activities for adult program participants with Adult Program Coordinators.
May provide job development, coaching, or support for paid and/or volunteer work for program participant(s).
May provide initial and ongoing training, coaching, mentoring and counseling in areas of appropriate work attitudes and skills specific to the individual's employment.
Provide instruction in use of public transportation
Communicate with key stakeholders as needed to report on the program participant's progress, needs, health, etc.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and prior experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. Must be at least 18 years of age. A special skill in cooking, weaving, gardening, textile, or fine arts is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to fulfill the dexterity and physical requirements of the work, and effectively attend to the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers as well as program participants and their family members, residential providers and significant others as needed.
Ability to read, understand, and follow directions found in manuals such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
Requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

The primary function of the Prep Cook is to ensure Silver Diner menu items are prepped according to Silver Diner specifications and standards.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Work as part of a team, communicating clearly and constructively
Set up and maintain a clean, organized station, clean as you go
Count all prepped items checking for quality and proper rotation
Measure and assemble all ingredients and cook items according to specs
Prep assigned items following specs and according to prep list
Label, date, rotate and store all prepped items properly using FIFO (first in, first out)
Return bulk items to walk-cooler as you are prepping to keep food out of danger zone
Proper knowledge of operating each piece of equipment

Go To is a Front of the House Associate who supports all other FOH Associates, especially Servers, ensuring Guest Satisfaction in the areas of Speed of Service and Accuracy of Orders.

La función principal del Ayudante de Cocina es asegurar la preparación de los elementos del menú de Silver Diner de acuerdo con las especificaciones y estándares de Silver Diner.

Establecer y mantener una estación limpia y organizada, limpieza continua
Contar todos los elementos de preparación, verificando la calidad y la rotación adecuada

Preparar los elementos asignados de acuerdo con las especificaciones y la lista de preparación

RESUMEN DE LA POSICIÓN
El Cocinero es el responsable de preparar y/o dirigir la preparación de los elementos del menú de Silver Diner para servir conforme a los estándares sanitarios, de salud e higiene personal y de acuerdo con las especificaciones de Silver Diner.
RESPONSABILIDADES:
Asegurar:
Que cada menú se prepare y se sirva para cumplir completamente con las especificaciones
Que se sigan los procedimientos de cocción
Conocer las especificaciones de todos los elementos del menú en su estación
Abastecer con ingredientes y provisiones antes de que surja la necesidad y a medida que sea necesario
Verificaciones completas de temperatura antes y después de la hora pico
Mantener una estación limpia y organizada, limpieza continua
Entender y cumplir con todos los estándares de seguridad, sanitarios, de salud e higiene personal.
Almacenar correctamente los ingredientes en todo momento y utilizando el sistema FIFO (primera entrada, primera salida)
Notificar sobre la necesidad de reparación y mantenimiento de equipo a KM
Trabajar en equipo, con una comunicación clara y constructiva

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AS A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM TO LEARN AND EXECUTE PT Business Management Build and maintain an active client baseManage and maintain an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systemsMarket and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactionsMaintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products Service and Hospitality Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for membersInteract with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experienceCreate and coach personalized programs for both in-person and virtual clientsMaintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions Professional Development Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge and qualify for promotionsAttend and participate in any required one-on-one or team meetings with management
Qualifications
