What You'll Get To Do
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this hourly position will function as a part of a team and support the maintenance and operating uptime requirements of the plant. This position’s primary objectives are to repair and maintain the plant and to meet cost effectively the operating requirements of the plant.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Use shop equipment to include lathes, end millers and shapers.
Machine fabricate parts.
Inspect, remove, replace drive components (bearings, couplings, sheaves, reducers, gearboxes).
Inspect, remove, replace pumps, compressors, valves, etc.
Inspect, remove, repair, replace conveyor systems, screws, airslides, belts, elevators, pneumatic systems, chains, etc.
Rigging.
Maintain/repair dust collector systems.
Rebuild equipment (compressors, gearing carriers and housings, coal mill assemblies, reducers, etc.).
Align equipment.
Welding and cutting.
Adjust and set bearings.
All aspects of millwright duties.
System trouble shooting.
Maintain/repair pipework on all systems and site service infrastructure.
Lubricate equipment as required.
What We Are Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, potential of rotating 12 hour shifts
Must be able to work overtime.
