Job DescriptionABOUT LEAHY LANDSCAPING, INC.Leahy Landscaping Inc. is an ever-growing, full-service landscaping company that provides professional services to Residential and Commercial properties spanning all of Eastern Mass, Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire. We are seeking to hire an Assistant Project Manager or with the right amount of experience a Project Manager who will be in charge of coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and construction teams in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, and submittal process. Minimum 2 years experience in Landscape or Green Industry preferred to join our team of dedicated professionals.ResponsibilitiesAssisting and answering to Project Manager & Construction teamCollaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the projectNegotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreementsObtain permits and licenses from appropriate authoritiesDetermine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitationsPlan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be metAcquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequaciesAllocate responsibilities with hired contractors and staffSupervise the work of laborers and give them guidance when neededEvaluate progress and prepare detailed reportsEnsure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issuesRequirementsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsOutstanding communication and negotiation skillsFamiliarity with construction/ project management softwareFamiliarity with quality and health and safety standardsIn-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principlesExperience in Landscape or Green Industry preferredA team player with leadership abilitiesBenefitsFull time position/ 40 hours a week with paid overtime.2 weeks Paid Time Off (Sick/ Vacation)Health Insurance (company pays 50% of health insurance premium)401k plan with company match up to 4% and vested immediately.Performance Plan (1 year review scheduled for anniversary date of hire)Tuition/ Certification ReimbursementReferral ProgramJob Types: Full-time, Contract
