Our group works all facets of spacecraft operations from spacecraft control, spacecraft systems engineering, mission planning, vehicle engineering (VE).Position Responsibilities:Provide engineering technical leadership for site engineering branchSupport Site Engineering lead to accomplish Vehicle Engineering objectives, tasks, projects, initiativesInterface with Site Chief VEs, Site VE Managers, Mission Chief Engineers, Program Principle Engineers, Mission Vehicle Engineers, and program management to execute program goals, objectives, projects and initiativesProvide engineering advisement, consulting, and expertise to missions and program as requiredProvide cross-mission Enterprise Vehicle Engineering technical execution, communication, process adherence, and process improvementsProvide Site Vehicle Engineering process excellence, adherence, and quality assuranceProvide direct support to site missions providing technical advisement, consulting, and technical review as neededProvide engineering technical business rhythm process execution for Site Engineering Lead as requiredExecute engineering taskers, projects, special assignments, and other activities required to support program engineering leadership and/or Customer(s)Provide direct/indirect support to local VE customersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance with an adjudicated CI Polygraph Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.The position is contingent on clearance verification and customer concurrence.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry10+ years of experience leading projects and/or teams.
