Description Leidos is seeking a talented and experienced Cyber Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to join our team to support a federal customer within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) IDIQ. The DPM supports the PM in the execution of a contract which encompasses monitoring of DHS networks both internally and as a service to subscribers.Primary ResponsibilitiesWork with the Program Manager (PM) to establish vision and direction for customer’s cyber resources and operations, cyber workforce planning, monitoring technical security risks for area of responsibility, and establishing and enforcing policies and protocols that protect the customer's digital assets. Additional years of experience or training, including military, may be considered in lieu of degreePMI PMP certificationISC2 CISSP certificationDemonstrated capabilities to analyze highly complex cybersecurity and network issues, recommend plans of action for contractor and government staff, and manage contractor teams supporting resolution of these issuesDemonstrated ability to influence others outside of own area on policies, practices and procedures.Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required, including substantial experience briefing senior customer/stakeholder managementExperience mentoring staff in order to maintain high levels of performance and positive moraleCandidate selected will be subject to a Government TS/SCI security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information.
