This position is a member of the Information Technology Team and supports IT technology for office personnel. This includes setting up servers, office 365 emails, computers/peripherals, troubleshooting, maintaining, and shipping IT equipment. As a candidate, you would have a passion for learning and exploring computer science technologies. You would also possess the tenacity for overcoming technical obstacles. Must have an interest in cloud technologies. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and maintain Active Directory server, and Office 365 email accounts. (Entry Level – have access to level 2 support). Duties include providing desktop workstation/system support for staff. Help staff troubleshoot basic applications and computer usage. Track computer inventory, purchase hardware, and software, and set up new workstations. Troubleshoot firewall and network traffic. (Entry Level – have access to level 2 support). Maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. Support the stable operation of the computer networks. Collaborate with the team to solve issues. Other duties as assigned. Skills / Qualifications: Experience in an IT environment. Knowledge of desktop, tablet, phone, and network operating systems. Working knowledge of MS Office Applications (Office365). Knowledge of email and smtp protocol. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments. Work with a sense of urgency. Ability to leverage best practices including the adherence to the Principle of Least Privilege. Adherence to IT security. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Experience Network Support/Hardware and Software Support/Technician (Preferred) or sufficient personal experience.
