Kelly has partnered with a premier food manufacturing company in Lynn, MA. and we are looking for a Warehouse Packaging Manager.This is a direct hire / permanent position / 3rd ShiftSalary range: 75 - 85k per year with premium benefits upon hire.Responsibilities: Ensure team members understand and follow safety rules, guidelines and practices, including all food safety standards, Safe Quality Foods (SQF), USDA and FDA. Manage coordination of production and batches for scheduled completion during shift. Responsible for attainment of KPI's (e.g., gallons per labor hour, cost per pound), department budget and generation of performance data. Manage ERP system transactions and inventory under area control. Oversee supervisors in managing employees work schedules, breaks and performance management as well as mentor, coach and motive team leaders and supervisors to meet/exceed daily targets and goals. Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes as well as leading and conducting all required team meetings. Work directly with QA and technical personnel on addressing and resolving deficiencies. Develop continuous improvement plans to improve Safety, Hygiene/sanitation, Quality, quantity and cost as well as monitor and initiate action to reduce or eliminate waste.   Take active lead with new employees and temporary labor.Requirements: Minimum of four years of manufacturing management experience (Preferably in the packaging and/or food industry) ERP Systems experience. Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel and Outlook the most) Experience in Lean manufacturing to include CI, RCA, 5S and waste elimination and other tools strongly preferred.Education: Associate degree or higher education required. Understand and follow engineering drawings and / or instructions of moderate complexity to complete mechanical and plumbing operations correctly and efficiently. Perform such operations as drilling, tapping, and soldering, as required. Operate hand, power and machine tools, as required. Perform other varied tasks involving a knowledge of system assembly and test requirements.Requirements: Two to five years of experience. Vocational school or high school with courses in shop, blueprint reading and associated mathematics would also be considered.
