Responsibilities:

  • Manage SMT Process development team including coaching and mentoring, hiring, performance management and development
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement efforts to improve efficiency and utilization of production lines
  • Lead operations interface with design teams to review manufacturability/testability and develop/document a thorough production process plan early in design process
  • Develop and debug the required process and program to be used for production build
  • Responsible for optimizing the production process for maximum thruput with minimum labor cost
  • Provide on-going support for production process enhancements as needed to ensure high quality and the most cost effective and efficient manufacturing thru put.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors in manufacturing Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Previous experience in SMT process development
  • Strong engineering skills, with detail understanding of multiple manufacturing lines (Surface Mount Technology)
