Assists in managing and configuring platform and server and desktop policies and is a resource to activate users as needed.Responds to and coordinates customer requests and inquiries via participation in the tiered support structure maintained by DIT. Assist users in determining the cause of platform problems, provides corrective actions, and provides Level 2 technical support. Description:

+ Help arrange, coordinate, and process new and renewal orders for middleware products.

+ Research if a customer has a current, signed license agreement for products.

+If no signed license agreement exists or the signed license agreement is obsolete then work with the CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) to get a current license agreement signed.

+ In coordination with the CRM, prepare and send quotations for customer maintenance and license renewals.

+ Remind customers of their future renewals via email and phone.

+ Assist with marketing efforts (trade shows, mail & email campaigns, etc.).

+ Assemble the purchasing history for new license and license renewal orders for a given customer / customer project for use by sales and technical support.

+ Coordinate the effort to determine if a customer is properly licensed.

+ Help the CRM develop a strategy

+ Create CDs for ORB express software images in response new sales and customer requests to support for a software distribution.

+ Prepare and ship CDs to customers as required.
