The position is for a physician to work in the Northern Virginia area between Fairfax and Fairfax Station in an hourly position and a low stress environment. We offer great benefits including fully covered Malpractice insurance, Medical/Dental Insurance with low premiums, Vacation, and a 401k plan that matches. The salary is competitive and there are no after hour necessities (no on-call or hospital rounds). We are a walk in only clinic with no appointments and the physician will see (on average) 2-3 patients per hour. Sometimes 4-5 patients will walk within an hour and other times it could be none per hour, depending on the day of the week and time of the year. The physician is paid either way. The shifts range from 6 hours to 14 hours. The schedule is very flexible and we always take the physicians preferred days to work in consideration when making the schedule, which usually happens 15-30 days prior to the next month. All the staff, fellow physicians, management, and owners are very professional and courteous to every employee and patient. Patient satisfaction is our number one priority, but we do not hinder the physicians practice of medicine in any way. The administrative work is completed by management and the staff so the physician can focus on treating patients only and will have no need to get involved with monetary issues and/or patient complaints in relation to the office policies. We have three locations that are well established, all open 365 days a year, and all staffed by a physician and medical assistants.

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Full Stack Agile Software Engineer (Associate/Experienced) to join the Boeing Space & Launch Proprietary Programs team in Herndon, VA.
 

As a member of a 40-person team, this individual will be assisting with the development and maintenance of complex, multi-tiered application software systems used to support the command and control of space vehicles. The developer will work day to day with Systems Engineers in order to implement, test, and document new features and improvements for both web services and applications supporting distributed computing solutions.

The developer will work under general supervision to complete assigned software development tasks. The developer will participate in team activities, including daily scrums, code reviews, design sessions, retrospectives and demonstrations. In addition, the developer will utilize automated CI/CD and testing pipelines supporting new features and products. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced level Software Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all agile activities including daily scrums, retrospectives, and PI planning.
  • Develop and maintain Java and JavaScript based services and solutions for cloud initiatives
  • Utilize Angular framework, JSON, MongoDB, Wildfly, Maven, Docker, AWS, GitLabs and Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Develop and execute unit and integrated test procedures
  • Provide deployment and testing artifacts as part of assigned work
  • Participate in application development specialties, including map/GUI integration, mathematical and logical algorithm development, and database structure design
  • Adhere to team development standards for software processes, tools and metrics

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degree
  • Active Top Secret or Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
  • 1+ years' experience in foundational CS knowledge and object-oriented design and software patterns
  • 1+ years' experience with Java, JavaScript, or C++

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following: HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript, Firebug and JS frameworks (REACT, jQuery, jQuery UI, Open Layers, etc.), Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL/Web Service protocols
  • Experience using dependency management (Ivy, Maven, Gradle)
  • Experience developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs and interfaces
  • Experience using cloud based infrastructure (AWS)
  • Experience using automation server (Jenkins)
  • Familiarity with practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, continuous integration, DevSecOps, and/or dependency management
  • Knowledge of Git or other DVCS
