<p>The Senior Manager, Government Affairs position is responsible for analyzing and lobbying on state legislation and regulations, aligned with the Association’s legislative, regulatory, and policy priorities. This includes lobbying proactively on Association priorities and responding to legislation or regulations that state policymakers and regulators take up. This position necessitates prompt legislative and regulatory analysis for the state government affairs program, while also supporting in-house lobbying efforts and special projects when needed. This position proficiently identifies, provides analysis, and offers recommendations and plans of action on bills and regulations that have an effect on the RV Industry, aligning with the Government Affairs department predefined legislative priorities. This position is also looking for emerging issues that impact the RV industry. On a day-to-day basis, this position lobbies on state legislation and regulations as directed by the Director of State Government Affairs, whom this position reports to.</p><p>The position involves a focused timeframe from January to May when most state legislatures are in session. During these months, the senior manager will be engaged in state lobbying activities, which may sometimes extend into evenings and weekends. This role also requires regular offsite travel, including trips to present testimony, negotiate bills, as well as attending meetings with partner and stakeholder association meetings. Attendance at the NCSL Legislative Summit as part of the Association's exhibit is mandatory. Legislative trips mainly occur in late winter and spring, while partner association and NCSL trips are typically scheduled for late summer and fall. Job Description
The Department of Family Services (DFS) seeks dedicated and energetic professional candidates to primarily work flexible schedules during the evenings to conduct investigations and family assessments in response to child abuse and neglect referrals. The successful candidates will join the Child Protective Services (CPS) program and a department with various functional areas that envisions better health, safety, and well-being for all. The Department supports individuals and families in the community to live their best lives while advocating for those most vulnerable and respecting their right to self-determination.
The successful candidate responds to and provides emergency crisis intervention, investigates allegations of abuse or neglect, and performs comprehensive assessments of children and their families as part of the CPS Evening Shift Team. This includes interviewing children, parents and guardians, and collateral contacts to determine risk and safety utilizing strengths-based and trauma-informed practices, as well as devising safety and service plans to assure child wellbeing while adhering to all local, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations.
The nature of this work is dynamic given the critical crisis responses and interventions to achieve the safety of children and youth. Core work hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. including rotating shifts to receive and validate referrals from 5:00 pm to 8:30 am or respond to emergency family situations.

Engaging families to improve child safety and encourage participation in services to enhance parenting skills and family functioning.
Referring families to appropriate community resources and supportive services.
Completing required community and home visits, collateral contacts, and documentation within the mandated timeframes.
Conducting joint investigations with law enforcement in situations alleging child abuse/neglect classified as a felony or Class 1 Misdemeanor.
Preparing affidavits and testifying in court.
Coordinating and participating in family team meetings to address family crises and service needs utilizing a collaborative approach.
Collaborating with community partners.
Assisting in emergency situations as needed.
Participating in staff meetings, in-service training, and outside training for professional development.
Performing other duties as assigned to resolve child safety issues and improve family outcomes.

Job Description
The Office of Elections and Voter Registration is seeking candidates to serve as Temporary Assistant Registrars to assist with the conduct of the November 7, 2023, General Election.
The successful candidates will assist office staff with voter registration related tasks such as data entry, customer service, answering phones, checking reports, filing, etc. Temporary Assistant Registrars may also be assigned to assist with absentee voting in-person or by-mail, which includes tasks such as processing applications, assisting with the mailing and reconciliation of ballots, assisting voters appearing in person, assisting with the supervision of early voting sites, etc. Work for the Temporary Assistant Registrars will begin in either August or September, with the bulk of the work in the months of September, October, and November to support the November Election. Hours will vary depending on workload.
Additionally Temporary Assistant Registrars may have the option to remain in the permanent temp pool and be called upon to assist around other elections and times of increased workload as needed and available. Temporary Assistant Registrars are an integral part of the Office of Elections team and help to ensure that each election is conducted successfully and that all registered voters can exercise their right to vote.
Job Requirements
Requires High School diploma and one (1) year of clerical and customer service experience. Must be a registered voter in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Must pass criminal background and credit checks. Must be willing to perform all tasks in a non-partisan manner as per Virginia Code.
Special Requirements

In this position, clients participate in small and large group activities under the general supervision of the supervisor. Job Summary
The Bartender is responsible for beverage control and general cleanliness of all bar areas. The Bartender consistently displays and provides the Three Steps of Service at all opportunities, which meet and exceed the Member's expectations.

Job Summary
The Golf Shop Attendant is responsible for promoting the game of golf and the Club while providing the Three Steps of Service to the Members and guests. Responsible for providing quality service, ordering necessary merchandise, and managing the golf shop operations.
Day-to-Day
Responsible for efficient and friendly customer service throughout the pro shop, accurately ringing up charges at the register and checking in all golfers prior to play. This also includes proper cash handling and meeting all standards of operations. Respond to inquiries and make tee times for Members and guests both in-person and over the phone. Focus attention on Members' and guests' needs while remaining calm, professional and courteous at all times, even when under pressure. Responsible for inventory controls, merchandise check-in, and organization of storage and display areas. Keep up inventory levels of constantly stocked items (i.e., shirts, socks, gloves, hats, balls, etc.). Responsible for marshaling, starting, and outside services as needed and requested. Provide shop assistance to the Head Golf Professional, General Manager, and Tournament Coordinators.
About You
Customer service experience. Basic Golf Knowledge. You are comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures and humidity.
