This work specifically supports fundamental understanding of hydrogen impact on structural and mechanical properties of metals and alloys at elevated temperatures and the design and development of low-cost high-performance materials for extreme environments using multiscale computational modeling and machine learning. The overarching goal is to address potential consequences of shifting from natural gas to hydrogen on the environmental degradation of post-combustion metallic components in power generation turbines. Efforts in this task will further lay the groundwork for the design of cost-effective materials broadly focused on enabling DOE efficiency and emissions targets.Primary Responsibilities:Perform density functional theory (DFT) calculations to develop machine learning interatomic potentials (MLIAPs) for steels in presence of hydrogen considering a variety of crystal defects including vacancy, stacking faults, dislocation, surface, grain boundary, and interface.Perform LAMMPS molecular dynamics & Monte Carlo simulations to predict structural evolution (including phase transformations) and mechanical behavior (including creep, fatigue and their interaction) in steels in presence of hydrogen as a function of alloy composition, temperature, stress, and hydrogen pressure.Required Education, Experience & Other:Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years experienceExtensive research experience in first principles DFT calculations to predict thermodynamic, kinetic, and mechanical properties of crystalline solids using VASP package is required. Description Leidos is seeking an experienced Cyber Forensics and Malware Analyst to join our team on a highly-visible cyber security single-award IDIQ vehicle that provides security operations center (SOC) support, cyber analysis, application development, and a 24x7x365 support staff. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Security Operations Center (SOC) Support Services is a US Government program responsible to monitor, detect, analyze, mitigate, and respond to cyber threats and adversarial activity on the DHS Enterprise.  The DHS SOC has primary responsibility for monitoring and responding to security events and incidents detected at the Trusted Internet Connection (TIC) and Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) and is responsible for directing and coordinating detection and response activities performed by each Component SOC. Direction and coordination are achieved through a shared DHS incident tracking system and other means of coordination and communication. Duties include maintaining a fly-away kit, performing dead box forensics, and dynamic malware analysis. Will support investigating computer and information security incidents to determine extent of compromise to information and automated information systems.  Will provide network forensic and intrusion detection support to high technology investigations in the form of researching and will maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security and encryption. In addition, the Analyst will help cross train and mentor other SOC Support Staff. The Analyst should have experience in monitoring and detection, and incident response to support detection, containment, and eradication of malicious activities targeting customer networks.  The analysts participate in briefings to provide expert guidance on new threats and will act as an escalation point for M&A analysts. The analyst may also be required to author reports and/or interface with customers for ad-hoc requests. Join our growing marketing team by sampling food and beverage to Target shoppers! This role in the exciting retail industry allows you to interact with shoppers and introduce them to products.  This is an independent job that offers a part-time schedule!

  • You're 18 years or older

  • Can lift up to 20lbs on a regular basis
  • Can stand for 4-6 hours while distributing samples in-store 
  • Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
  • Have reliable transportation to shifts at a Target near you
