We're currently seeking SMT Operators to join our SMT Department in our Leesburg, Virginia facility. SMT Operators set up and operate SMT machines and manufacture SMT assemblies.

This is a role in which you will:

  • Operate and/or program surface mount assembly equipment
  • Using either a manual, semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil machine
  • Load the proper components onto Siemens Placement Machines
  • Operating the reflow oven, AOI machine and performing quality inspections at each stage to ensure correct assemblies are manufactured


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more experience with SMT Functions or automated equipment
  • Capability to read, follow rules/instructions, understand basic circuit assembly processes, and component identification ability
  • Ability to work well with other employees as a team and pay close attention to detail and neatness
  • Ability to interface with process engineering to identify/resolve problems
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of ISO processes
