As a Medical Coder, you will provide coding and coding auditing services directly to providers. You'll play a key part in healing the health system by making sure our high standards for documentation processes are being met. Delivering quality care starts with ensuring our processes and documentation standards are being met and kept at the highest level possible. This means working behind the scenes ensuring a member-centric approach to care. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical coding in various departments (Inpatient/Outpatient/Acute/Pro-Fee), validating the information in the databases for outcome management and specialty registries, across the entire integrated healthcare system. The purpose of this position is to apply the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to individual patient health information records for data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing.

Primary Responsibilities:
Assigns accurate diagnostic and procedure codes according to clinical documentation and official coding guidelines for outpatient hospital accounts
Monitors assigned work queues to ensure all records are charged/coded in a timely matter
Generates coding queries for clarification regarding physician documentation as needed
Stays abreast of all changes in coding conventions and coding updates
Ability to manage significant workload, and to work efficiently under pressure meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
Coding certification to include the following: CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, CRC, to be maintained annually
Ability to identify and code diagnosis codes according to CMS and ICD-10 standards
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word (create, copy, edit, send, and save documents) and Microsoft Excel (ability to create, open, edit and save)
Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 5:00am - 6:00pm
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of professional or outpatient coding experience
Ambulatory surgery and observation experience
Experience with various encoder systems (eCAC,3M, EPIC, Meditech)
Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Excel (create, data entry, save)

What is a CLEAR Sales Representative?
What you will do - Security, Service and Sales as a Brand Ambassador for CLEAR
Consistently demonstrate adherence to security procedures by validating airline documents, verifying CLEAR member traveler identification and following documented security protocols
Exceptional customer-service-focused communication skills and the ability to engage with potential customers, general travelers, and members alike
Drive membership enrollments by engaging travelers and selling them the benefits of CLEAR
Comply with all security and safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times
You will be walking through our CLEAR lanes and around the airport in order to assist our members and passengers
Who You Are
Positive and energetic attitude
Self-motivated achiever interested in taking on additional responsibilities, and selling CLEAR!
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, hospitality-driven atmosphere
Previous sales and/or customer service experience, a plus – we’ll teach you the rest!
Open availability and flexibility is a must – ability to work a variety of shifts
Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day
You must be 18 years of age or older
