Job Purpose

Job Purpose GMAW (gas metal arc welding) on sub-assemblies and final assemblies to directly support line production. Typically assigned to the road safety positions that must be filled with Level 2 Welders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for inspection of road safety components within the cell in which he/she is working, ensuring that all welds are present and correct per the drawing
Responsible for reworking (or having another welder within the cell rework) any weldments that do not meet the requirements.
Responsible for feedback to other welders on acceptable weld quality and reporting any issues with other welders to the Takt Lead. NOT responsible for reprimanding other welders for poor workmanship or other issues.
Operate all types of tools necessary to the job, including but not limited to, wire feed welder, carbon-arc gouger, plasma cutter, oxygen and fuel cutting torches, hand drill, hammer, needle gun, chisel, utility knives, putty scraper, disk sander, rivet gun, impact wrench, huck gun, grinder, clamps, combination square, automated welders and tape measure.
Weld in all positions such as vertical (3), flat (1), horizontal lap (2) and overhead (4).

Job Purpose
Direct and manage manufacturing operational area(s) with overall responsibility for production, health and safety systems, workflow planning, maintenance, employee relations, training, turnover, quality, supply chain and line side inventory, process planning/mapping, continuous improvement, and other production related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the production process, in a manufacturing area, to ensure proper coordination between all company departments to the manufacturing line.

Qualifications
