Primary Purpose:
Within an assigned geographic market, an account executive is responsible for identifying leads, proactively prospecting and selling to new and existing residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial accounts. The sales representative meets regularly with prospective new clients in his or her assigned territories to deliver sales presentations, follow up with decision makers and sell all services, including special events. Individuals that have entertainment, special event, and restaurant industry experience do excel in this format in dealing with people. Must have outgoing approach and personality with a flair for sales.
Principal Responsibilities:
Responsible for calling on all accounts and for developing new business to include current customers. Emphasis of selling responsibility will be to new Long-term construction customers. Will be responsible for achieving established goals for company within assigned territory.
Deliver sales presentations to prospective new customers, follow up with key customer decision makers and to close all sales. Maintain an awareness of market conditions and competition trends in assigned market to anticipate changing customer needs.
Maintain detailed knowledge of the Company’s available services, pricing structures and offer additional services to existing and potential customers to grow revenue and contribute to Company goals and objectives.
Build relationships and raise visibility for the Company through participation in industry-sponsored activities as needed. Visit trade shows, Builders Association events, Chamber of Commerce events, any events where we have customer presence as necessary.
Complete required service agreements, Sales Force entries, and other paperwork in a timely manner and in compliance with Company policy. Coordinate with departments within the company to ensure customer service requests are handled accordingly to policy and in a timely fashion. Act as intermediary between customers, sales, operations, and office to solve general inquiries & issues.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s Degree (AA) from two-year college or technical school and 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must be professional, self-motivated and possess strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Valid driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
Ability to achieve results.
