
Extreme Machine and Fab (EMF) is currently looking for both CNC as well as Manual Machinists who strive for knowledge and are dedicated to their work. On the job training will be provided. Applicants will be responsible for machining work center functions, maintaining quality and safety standards in a job shop environment. Essential Duties / Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC (or manual) equipment to manufacture a product according to print specifications. • Inspect blueprints to determine accurate and precise dimensions and configurations. • Choose proper cutting tools and corresponding speed and feed rates according to machine capabilities and part requirements. • Perform setups and teardowns on a vast array of jobs. • Perform in-process quality checks on parts during CNC (or manual) operations to ensure parts meet customer quality specifications. • Perform basic maintenance of equipment. • Commitment to keeping a clean work area. • Meet production deadlines through educated machining techniques and critical thinking. • Operate Bridge and Jib cranes safely to load and unload parts. Education / Experience: • Any CNC or Manual machining. • Blueprint reading and interpretation. • Understanding of shop mathematics. • Understanding and use of Precision Tools (micrometers, etc.). • Must be willing to work overtime if needed to meet deadlines. • Must be dependable and reliable. • Must perform work in a safe manner.
