The duties of the Lead Sales Associate include assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating a cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning the store, and performing other duties as assigned by the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets. Lead Sales Associates perform the duties of a Sales Associate and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers. Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer’s purchase, collect payment from customers and make change, bag merchandise, and assist customers with merchandise as necessary.Follow company work processes to receive, open and unpack boxes, cartons and totes of merchandise; stock merchandise, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves, and build merchandise displays.Clean the store; take out trash; dust and mop store floors; clean restroom and stockroom; and help set up sidewalk displays.Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.Open and close the store under specific direction of the Store Manager.Perform additional duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, in their absence. Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently transport our Airstream community outreach unit to designated locations, following all traffic rules and regulations.
Set up and dismantle the Airstream unit at each location, ensuring it is organized, welcoming, and functional.
Engage with community members, actively listening to their needs and providing information about available resources and services.
Foster meaningful connections and build relationships with individuals and community organizations, creating a sense of trust and support.
Collaborate with our team to develop and implement outreach strategies, ensuring we effectively address community needs.
Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness checks on the Airstream unit, ensuring it remains in excellent condition.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Valid Tennessee Class D driver's license with no major moving violations in the past three years upon date of hire. (Upon acceptance of offer, candidate will undergo background check, substance-use testing, vision test, and motor vehicle records check.) Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)is strongly is encouraged!
Experience with ownership/management of a recreational vehicle or similar large vehicle a plus!
Active First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon employment (employer to cover costs).
Experience working with computerized software, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, or other similar programs.
Lived experience relevant to this role will also be considered and can supplement instead of an educational experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong organizational and time management abilities to coordinate outreach schedules and ensure timely arrivals.
