The Plant Controller will be the business partner responsible for challenging and supporting the Site Management Team as “commercial conscience” of the plant. The Senior Plant Controller will anticipate and address business issues and will drive good decision-making through providing sound financial analysis. The Plant Controller will have the ability to function in a matrixed environment at a broad-based level while being capable of driving detailed execution.
Key Accountabilities:
Budgeting Process:
Initiate, lead and coordinate budgeting process (OMP) on site level.
Monitor ongoingly milestones, priorities and initiate corrective measures when deviations occur.
Challenge and approve cost center budgets before releasing to OMP.
Financial analysis and reporting (monthly and ad hoc):
Analyze and interpret financial site performance and make sure that SMT/BU has clear understanding thereof.
Suggest proactively countermeasures in case of deviations to SMT.
Disclose problems as “early warning” to SMT/BU Controlling.
Evaluate production costs and its KPIs to make recommendations incl propose and initiate cost improvement projects.

Enhance Standard Costing of new and existing products in SAP.
Risk management: Responsible for providing solid financial assessment of risks and reports to SMT/BU Controlling.

Provide final sign off of all local investments.

This position develops and maintains an overall knowledge of the facility’s processes, products, and tests and evaluates the processes and products to make recommendations and improvements in quality, productivity, safety and costs. This position is also responsible for minor capital project development (less than $250K), execution, and start-up. Recertify as stated in training/certification policy. • Load and unload containers. • Successfully complete Level 2 Benchmarks Specialist: • Performs precursor scanning to PO's • Manage the dumpsters daily, if full call for pickup, if overfilled level off. • Complete Yard Dog training and certify to operate Yard Dog as well as recertify according to policy. • Perform SAP and MES movements as needed • Will perform back up Lead duties when required. • Successfully complete Specialist Benchmarks. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. • Must have an excellent safety and attendance record. • Must be able to work rotating shift schedule and ability to work overtime when needed. • Position requires flexibility in work and break schedules. • Must meet requirements for company driver list - MVR (motor vehicle report) necessary. • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills. • Must be able to understand and monitor finished precursor splicing quality and equipment function. • Experience in the use of computers and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Ability to prioritize effectively, organize and follow through on multiple tasks.
