Develop a process for reviewing waste, identifying key drivers and push forward for process improvements that will help in reporting and cost reduction. Provide other ad hoc reporting, process optimization, development and other projects as required Business Support & Training: Train & educate operational business partners and other internal customers on best practices and system enhancements. This could include, but not limited to: Provide training & documentation on all plant accounting related items, including waste, process order review, AOP/Forecasting, inventory transactions, and purchase order transactions. Develop and maintain financial SOPs and documentation. Partner and assist in supporting the Supply Chain Finance and Operations teams on technical research and troubleshooting supply chain reporting related issues related to manufacturing. Act as subject matter expert on manufacturing financials and financial drivers. Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree in Accounting or closely related field required. CPA strongly preferred. Three to five (3-5) years of financial business experience required. Demonstrated data mining capabilities, with ability to develop analytical models, tools and reports Experience in forecasting and analysis. Skills/Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must. The Machine Operator is a key member to the production team and a summary of his/her responsibilities includes but is not limited to: monitoring speed and loads, tending various machines that perform functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers. Responsibilities: Operating assigned machines and all other associated work including; preventative maintenance, machine changeovers, adjusting for operational efficiency, and assist other operators as necessary. Startup machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions. Perform best practice quality checks. Identify and report defective materials. Maintain awareness of your area for possible hazards such as loose wires, loose parts, scattered tools, puddled juice or water, loose cording from cap pallets, open knives, bottles laying around moving parts of starwheel assembly. During downtime take care of accumulating rework. Manually record data as required, charting necessary process adjustments based on data findings. Ensure quality checks and procedures are complete. Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all equipment. Observe all safety procedures. Completing QMS paperwork to maintain packaging specs. Verify such specs as cap torque, stream pressure, container fill temperature, fill weights, codes. etc. Determine causes of downtime and document it on the downtime sheet. Reports food safety and quality problems to Plant Management and SQFP to initiate action. Requirements: High School Diploma/GED preferred. Machine operations within a manufacturing environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to understand units of measure and record information. Ability to work any shift assigned. Ability to read, comprehend, and following written work related instructions. Effective verbal communication skills. Ability to work without close supervision. Collects and delivers a wide variety of materials while adhering to safety procedures. Delivers materials to work areas as directed, stacks materials in storage areas and loads/unloads trailers for inbound or outbound goods. Forklift certification required. Responsibilities: Operate gas or electric forklift in and between departments, buildings and grounds. Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials. Check incoming materials for shortages or damaged materials. Collect and deliver a wide variety of materials while adhering to established safety procedures. Deliver materials to work areas as directed; stacks materials in storage areas in and out of racks. Operate palletizer equipment and use computer systems for production and loading. Perform cycle counts on materials and ingredients. Perform cycle counts on finished goods. Attend communication meetings as required. Pull pallets and place them accordingly to be able to walk around them and check for any damage. Ensure pallets and products are reviewed for damage; change if damaged. Pull product and load trucks as needed. Ensure work area is clean and organized before leaving premises. Follow First In First Out (FIFO) policies and procedures and ensure product is stacked accordingly. All paperwork must be in order and accurate (ex: shipping documents, receipts, transfers, holds, etc.). Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or one (1) to three (3) months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift Certification required. Demonstrated ability to understand manufacturing software, inventory software, and database software. Ability to calculate mathematical figures and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to work any shift assigned. Physical Requirements: Must be able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 70 pounds.
