The Inpatient Critical Access Hospital Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy department. The Pharmacy Services Manager will provide their strong leadership and management skills to lead an energetic team of pharmacy staff, ensuring all legal and accreditation requirements are followed. The Pharmacy Manager will step in to serve as Pharmacy Director on an as needed basis, ordering supplies, narcotics, medications, and other inventory. The Inpatient Pharmacist Manager will also be responsible for responding to emergencies within the facility, providing expert advice and assistance to RN staff and physicians. This hospital is seeking a Pharmacist with strong leadership skills and knowledge of EHR and associated pharmacy platforms. PharmD is preferred. Five or more years of hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred, along with up-to-date pharmacy licensure in the State of Louisiana. Prior experience as Pharmacist in Charge is also highly preferable, but not required for this role. This 25-bed short term acute care critical access facility is located in the Northwestern corner of Louisiana, and offers a wide range of medical services including: inpatient medical surgical care, 24-hour emergency services, rehabilitation services, advanced perioperative services, women’s health services, as well as radiology and diagnostic imaging.
