These duties include: Collects all garbage and/or recyclables from the assigned locations and place them in the correct disposal dumpster Disinfects and cleans garbage cans, and changes liners daily Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and fixtures daily with a germicidal solution Wet mops all washable floors as specified in the schedule including restrooms, stairwells, elevators, office areas, and storage areas Cleans glass and/or windows (inside and outside) when required Cleans office areas and building entrances and walls using a designated cleaning solution as scheduled or needed Vacuum all carpeted areas as specified in the schedule Sweeps and clears entrance areas Dust-mops corridors Dust cleans and sanitizes other surfaces as specified in the schedule Performs other cleaning duties as specified in the schedule Refills paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in all dispensers Fills out and maintains housekeeping log according to schedule Participates in emergency drills and environmental safety activities, as requested Attends and participates in worksite safety and in-service training Performs other duties as assigned Reports the following to the Supervisor or designated staff person: Need for cleaning supplies or equipment repair in advance Water leaks, and other maintenance needs All other health and safety hazards noticed Desired Experience/Education Experience in the custodial field Knowledge of proper cleaning methods Additional Requirements Must be able to comply and pass a background check as required by the contract Must have vehicle and proof of insurance Must be able to physically move through the worksite Must be able to lift 40 lbs. You will perform basic repairs on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models with minimal technical supervision, including some preventative maintenance (oil, lube and tire repairs) and depending on your technical expertise, warranty repairs. You may assist our experienced mechanics in complex repairs.
