This position is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and retrieval of rental equipment. The items you handle will be used at the most exclusive events in the region, as well as the most important personal events marking milestones in private homes and yards. This position reports directly to the Transportation Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary role as an over the road Driver/Mover Moving and Delivering all Event Equipment from warehouse to client locations, must be able to pick, lift and move in excess of 60lbs frequently Selection of individual client orders, making sure they are current and correct Verifying inventory being removed from client sites and communicating any quantity discrepancies Setting up and installing various pieces of equipment such as stages and dancefloors SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must be 21+ years of age Candidates must have a valid Driver’s license and up to date DOT card No current license suspension/revocation Safe driving record/MVR Prior Driving experience preferred Command of English language High school diploma or GED preferred PEAK Event Services is New England's leading event rental resource. Receiving and confirming walk-in, telephonic, and online reservations.
Directing early arrivals to the bar as they wait for their tables to become available.
Ushering diners to their tables and providing them with menus.
Accepting and informing the relevant staff about food and beverage requests.
Mixing and pouring beverages, as needed.
Transporting food orders from the kitchen to each pertinent table.
Clearing glassware, silverware, and crockery from each table once guests have completed their meals, or upon request.
