20 years of experience with a Federal Contractor in business development, capture and proposal management, pricing and contracting, marketing, teaming, and Program Management.
10 -15 years of experience establishing, building, leading, and managing a successful corporate Business Development organization in large IT, mid-tier, and small business Firms.
Comprehensive knowledge of Government acquisition, business development, capture and proposal concepts and principles.
Extensive knowledge of the FAR/CFARS/DFARS and DoD/Army policies
Bachelor's Degree, or 25 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Up to 40% travel can be expected, mainly CONUS. Orlando FL, Sierra Vista, AZ.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
Technical or Engineering degree; MBA in Marketing
Former acquisition officer or Government acquisition civilian.
Performs complex tasks following established business development processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Management and technical skills in the areas of IT, MI, Networking, Cybersecurity, and overseas operations.
Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.
Army/DoD Acquisition as a field grade officer, DoD Civilian or senior NCO is desired.
