Stoughton Trailers is looking for employees who are interested in becoming welders at our Stoughton plant. If you have previous welding experience, you may be able to test out of weld school by passing the hands-on welding test. If you do not test out, you may still qualify to become a welder by going through our weld school training program. Successful employees would fill upcoming welder openings in various departments. 1) Weld school training is 4 days and will be held in Stoughton on first shift from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
2) Upon successful completion of the 40-hour classroom training, graduates are given hands-on welding training in Plant 5/6 departments with openings and follow a progressive pay scale which has been put in place for this program.
3) Students need the following equipment before reporting to weld school: protective leathers, hood/helmet, welding gloves and needle-nose pliers. Stoughton Trailers will supply welding equipment.
4) Students must be clean shaven the first day of weld school because they will be fit-tested for a respirator. Students will also be required to pass a spirometry test. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on vehicles by inspecting brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery. Perform oil changes, repair/replace brakes, install new transmissions, install replacement engines, overhaul engines, tire changes and other repairs.
Perform Preventive Maintenance on a variety of powered equipment, including gas and electric forklifts.
Complete repairs to hydraulics and ignitions.
Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures.
Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment.
Raise vehicles or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
Test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
Inspect, test and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, charts and pressure gauges.
Specialize in repairing and maintaining parts of the engine.
Drive forklift or other powered industrial trucks. Lift tire and rim onto mounting mechanism to mount tire.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them. Maintain LP and electric forklifts, batteries, repair electric hand tools, light fabrication, cutting and welding.
Perform and maintain day-to-day operations on general maintenance such as light bulbs, overhead doors, low voltage, 240v or less electric motors, floor scrubber, and other repairs as instructed.
Performs with general to no supervision. Monitor contractor performance and work closely with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications.
Maintains good record keeping techniques on all building equipment items and continually updates records. Prepare and submit daily activity reports.
Troubleshoot, evaluate and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities.
Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns. Inspect electrical distribution systems for safety and efficiency.
Assist in maintaining and operating life safety/fire systems. Maintain work areas in an organized and clean manner.
Transports goods or equipment utilizing a company vehicle, as required.
Performs cleaning duties necessary to maintain clean facility. Accountability to complete work on time and with a high degree of quality.

Job Purpose Monitors the manufacturing quality of trailers, individual parts and sub-assemblies in compliance with applicable Company quality assurance standards, engineering drawings and other related specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate all types of tools essential and necessary to the job, including but not limited to brake test machine, light tester, man lift, bumper jack, ABS tester, wrenches, tape measure.
Work on the trailer assembly line and sub-assembly areas monitoring those items as designated by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Verify conformance of each assigned item to company and/or customer drawings, standards and specifications.
Record acceptance or rejection decision by identifying him/herself on the appropriate forms and ensure reasons for rejections are clearly defined.
Assist in the initiation of corrective action by management in the event of sub-standard quality levels or failure to meet acceptance or reliability standards.
Maintain communications with all assembly line managers, continuously informing these managers of all out-of-specification conditions, especially where noted on more than one unit.

The Home Delivery Driver leads the delivery team as they partner to inspect, load, deliver, and set-up merchandise for customers in a safe, accurate manner.
* Delivers merchandise in a safe and efficient manner
* Establishes customer greeting, conducts a pre-inspection, sets up merchandise, verifies delivery and return accuracy
* Performs daily vehicle maintenance and maintains clean delivery vehicles to display a professional and organized delivery
* Ensures proper handling, operating and maintenance of all trucks and equipment in a manner that will avoid staff injury or damage to the vehicle, equipment or merchandise

Maintain and repair all plant and operations equipment. Build and modify new equipment and facilities. Operate all types of tools and machines essential and necessary to the job, including but not limited to electrical meter, hand tools, hand-held power tools, electrical components, torches, grinders, forklifts, aerial lifts, overhead cranes, and computer equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, pumps, welders, punches, presses, shears, cranes, hoists, conveyors, heating and cooling ventilation systems, electrical systems, small hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic equipment and paint equipment. Troubleshoot line repairs and breakdowns. Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Perform machine and fixture set-ups. Operate overhead cranes and other lifting devices. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy. Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product. Must provide own tools and perform maintenance tasks. Ability to work mandatory overtime Maintain high standards of work performance, including direct assistance to manager, as needed. Hiring Now! Weld School - Stoughton

Stoughton Trailers is looking for employees who are interested in becoming welders at our Stoughton plant. If you have previous welding experience, you may be able to test out of weld school by passing the hands-on welding test. If you do not test out, you may still qualify to become a welder by going through our weld school training program. Successful employees would fill upcoming welder openings in various departments. 1) Weld school training is 4 days and will be held in Stoughton on first shift from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
2) Upon successful completion of the 40-hour classroom training, graduates are given hands-on welding training in Plant 5/6 departments with openings and follow a progressive pay scale which has been put in place for this program.
3) Students need the following equipment before reporting to weld school: protective leathers, hood/helmet, welding gloves and needle-nose pliers. Stoughton Trailers will supply welding equipment.
4) Students must be clean shaven the first day of weld school because they will be fit-tested for a respirator. Students will also be required to pass a spirometry test.
