This position will also be involved in the other aspects of production. Milling is a small portion of the overall manufacture of NCCM products and this candidate must be willing to spend large amounts of time in other areas. This can include but is not limited to: basic maintenance, lathe work, bearing work, inspections, shipping, etc. Responsibilities/Duties • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations • Help assure that weekly schedule is completed • Work as part of the team • Follow all company rules and policies • Follow all Safety rules and policies • Assure all products are manufactured to the highest standard and quality • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency • Responsible for quality control • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) • Operate forklift • Complete daily production logs. • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on machinery used • Communicate with Supervisors to ensure shipments are going out according to schedule • Turn off and lock out equipment when maintenance is being performed or the machine is not safe to use. • Other duties as assigned.
