JobGet Announces Instant Placement Initiative

Boston-based start-up JobGet will help support local businesses and job seekers in response to COVID-19 impacts
Boston, MA, Mar 31, 2020 - JobGet today announced their "Instant Placement Initiative" to help local business and job seekers. With COVID-19 severely impacting the restaurant industry, JobGet has been helping displaced restaurant workers get back on their feet by connecting them with temporary or new employment opportunities.

In recent weeks, JobGet has matched thousands of workers to essential businesses that are urgently hiring to meet consumer demand at grocery stores, big-box discount retailers, takeout/delivery restaurants, pharmacies, transportation companies, assisted living, childcare providers, healthcare providers, etc.

To support local businesses and job seekers, JobGet has launched the "Instant Placement Initiative". The initiative offers up to $5,000 in free job posting credits (until June 30, 2020) for employers urgently looking to hire, or preparing to hire. JobGet also helps all displaced hourly workers by setting up instant interviews with local businesses.
JobGet is a mobile app that helps employers and job seekers connect instantly.

Employers can hire as quickly as 24 hours, and job seekers can receive job offers as quickly as 24 hours through instant messaging or video interviews.

JobGet is the 2019 Global Winner of the MIT Inclusive Innovation Challenge, as well as the 2019 Gold Winner of MassChallenge. The platform works closely with the Mayor's Office of Economic Development as well as hundreds of local organizations and schools.
